I know the season has not long finished but I am misssing county
already. More because I think the prospects for Devon are on the up
and with long awaited success due I am predicting that next season
will be our time.
If re-elected, the selection committee intend to make additions to
what is already a quality squad of players. If we manage to do this
and, have an earlier than usual start to the new superleague season to
check on form, I think selection for the first match we be very
difficult

ha ha watto i busted it on purpose as i havnt hit many 180s this
season...
this may make you laugh..
after playing at torpoint last nite i boarded the 12.20 train from
plymouth to exeter to arrive at 1.25 in exeter..now having consumed
many wines and lagers and seeing as the train was comfy i rested my
eyes for the journey..
i woke up and looked to see the time was 1.36am..dam i couldnt get off
till taunton and had to get the 3.34 train back eventually getting to
my bed at approx 5.00am

haggissman im sure they will be 2 good games this week between bar mez
and lucky kiss but dont get above your station like mr watts and mr
davey did last week and end up on the wrong end of a 9.3 drubbing...

Just like to mention a particular well played to North Devon,s John
Lakeman who played some great darts over last weekend. John was in
great form when finishing runner up in two competitions and with it
netted himself £705 prize money.
On Saturday John played superb darts before unluckily missing out 4-3
in the final to Welsh Int Martyn Freeman at a competition in Bristol
and then followed it up with a 5-1 defeat against former England Int
Andy Jenkins in the final at Frome on Sunday.

semis of the welsh open.
unfortunately i missed his tv matches as i was at wembley.

Big well done to Mike Rice on winning 8 out of 8 for the county youth
side this season.
Should lead to a place in the South team against the North in July.
well done to all of the rest of the squad on what has been a very good
first season.
