COMMITMENT.
After the euphoria surrounding our win over Norfolk i was brought
bcak to earth very quickly because there were some very difficult
selection decisions which had to be made. With a great performance
like that we would liked to have left the teams the same, but because
three people had lost two on the trot, no matter how unfortunately,
there were COMMITTED people patiently waiting for their chance.
Very disappointing that two of the people replaced are not travelling
to London. |

I make no apologies for thanking and at the same time congratulating
Paul Smith since taking over the County calling duties from the
impressive Andy Maddicks.
With an hard act to follow Paul has filled Andy's shoes
confidently and with each weekend that goes by gets better and better.
Even Andy made the odd blip, not surprising with 36 game to call, but
they are becomming fewer and far between for Paul now.
I think i can safely say a big thankyou to Paul on behalf of all the
players. |

Tomorrows Open competition at Rileys Exeter, sign in 11.30a.m. for 12
noon start. I have just heard from Rileys that the winnings pot will
start with £100 for the men and £50 for the women with the entries on
top. So the more of you that turn up the more you have chance of
winning. The winner also gets the chance to play Phil Taylor and
Anastasia on 24th May at the Grand opening. |

Didn't get the chance to say well done to most of you at the
weekend. It was a pleasure to call some great games of darts, and
always better when we are winning. The support was great as well,
ACKO, MICHELLE AND CO. A fantastic result and the chance of promotion
is now in our hands. a big well done and keep it going. YOU GUYS CAN
DO IT! Thats for you Trev, you are a great role model that all can
follow and learn from. Just keep at it, and im sure you will be back

For a committed county dart player it can not get much better than
last weekend. With 17 180,s scored over the weekend the standard of
darts in my opinion was the best so far this season, and as the final
results suggest both our men and women were up for the challenge.
The levels of support shown for our fellow squad members during their
matches was fantastic, Acco, Jane and Tracy must have shouted
themselves hoarse.
Wew can all go to London with a renewed confidence and nothing to
fear. |

DARTS COMP at the heart of oak in Exeter.
Heats start on the 26th of March and run for 12 weeks.(friday nights)
All heat winners play on Finals night on the 18th of June and Play
Gary Anderson on the 2nd of July.
